Now I see why they get compared. Back in the day (way before I was born) there were 2 bands who`s sole purpose was to f**k your head up. Hawkwind over here and The Dead over there.
S**T I don`t listen to much 60`s Dead but it`s the same procedure isn`t it. Intense music with crazy lights.
Difference is that the Dead focussed on musicianship while Hawkwind focussed on electronics,
Same effect though.
